A universal rite of passage

Yesterday my husband bought his first tub of spackle. He is finally a real man.

I couldn't be more proud of him.

  2. Its this cement type stuff that men use to fill up holes in walls and stuff. I'm sure there is a Greek word for it. Actually, spackle may be a brand name in America, and not what the thing is actually called.

    p.s. thank you= in greek probably:

    SPACKLE = ΣΤΟΚΟΣ , PERHAPS
    IN A SENTENCE:
    " Ο ΘΑΝΟΣ ΣΤΟΚΑΡΙΣΕ ΤΟΥΣ ΤΟΙΧΟΥΣ , ΓΙΑ ΝΑ ΤΟΥΣ ΒΑΨΕΙ"

  4. In slang, "Στόκος" is a dim-witted person.

    Καλά, είσαι στόκος? = Are you stupid?

    If you are familiar with Greek TV, you might know of one Παναγιώτης Τώκος

    Saying his name out loud might reveal more about his intelligence!:-)

  5. Lol, I don't watch much Greek TV in the way of shows. I watch the news sometimes. But I get the play on the name.

    I'm starting to get some of the slang. I knew glastra and now I know stokos!
