This was how I enjoyed the first full day of Spring. The temperature was on the verge of freezing, so the icy precipitation made a mess of our power lines, breaking one and causing a 16 hour power outage. Thank goodness for book lights and cats, which kept me entertained while my husband was away at a conference. Life in the mountainous areas of Greece can be...interesting.

Haha... I did actually see the bad weather on the news and give you a thought.
Then I got back to reminding myself that it happened outside of Athens so it's not really important!

Wow, that's a lot of snow. I was getting ready to put the kids' winter stuff away too!
I had to drive down to Thessaloniki (from Kilkis) to take one of my cats to the vet there, and boy! was it pouring down...!! Worst weather for yonks! Not at all surprised to see it snowed up on Hortiatis.
Life in the mountainous areas of Greece can be...interesting.
