Massive Attack is, in my opinion, one of the greatest bands of all time. I haven't gotten to see them live yet though. I've been a fan for 13 years and they haven't disappointed yet.
I didn't always like Royksopp. Well, I didn't NOT like them, but I didn't pay much attention. I actually only ever heard of them when we first got european MTV. My husband and I both really love their last album. We got it at the same time we got the Sigur Ros, and I like the Sigur Ros better, while my husband likes the Royksopp better.
I've seen them live, love them, have all their stuff, along with the other "Bristol Scene" bands Portishead and Tricky etc. Would seriously love to see them again but not in a mega-venue.
I listened to 'Blue Lines' almost every night for a year and not once did I remotely get bored of it.
And as for the Leonad Cohen... well, he is a deity here in Canada. They closed of a major downtown street in Toronto last week because he made an appearance at a bookstore.
