It is one thing when you and your spouse say and think of the same things at the very same time. It is entirely another when you and your mother-in-law say the same things at the very same time.
I think your dilemma is much better than mine, wherein me and my future MIL seem to always be saying the OPPOSITE things all the time, which leads to arguments, conflict and stress. Pooh. But she does live 5 hrs. away which cuts down on this. You're so lucky to have such a lovely situation!
There's a greek saying: "Ama den tairiazete, den sympetheriazete" (loosely translated: if the couple doesn't match, see things eye-to-eye, then they won't get along with their in-laws). You're obviously a good match with the in-laws as well, consider yourself blessed. :-)
