This weekend ALL weekend has been Aviation weekend on the Discovery Channel. My husband is is in imminent danger of suffering aviation overdose, and I am in imminent danger of suffering aviation boredom.
If he starts running through the house pretending to be an airplane and shouting "too low terrain! too low terrain!" I am outta here.

The Discovery Channel has come a long way.
In the past, there were only three topics covered ad nauseum.
Viewers could tune in at any time and see either Hitler, aviation themed programming or sharks - nothing more, nothing less.
Of course, any one of those three things can be just as good as porn to some guys! And I'd say Hitler or random war stuff, which I guess does usually mostly include WWII because that is where all the best footage is from.
I dig crime night on Discovery myself.
i personally prefer the less superficial, more life affirming topics covered on E! . such travel advetures on "Taradise" and the endless bitching and moaning of the gastineau girls.
