Unless, of course, you life in a place where it snows all the time. (which I realize would make it not universal but, oh well, la di da, blah blah blah)

On Friday the weathermen were predicting a blizzard in my area to start on Saturday night. Saturday in the day the foodstores were PACKED with people. That night it snowed and so far we have 9 inches of the white stuff and it is still snowing. There is a road advisory warning, meaning that people should not drive unnecessarily, so I guess a little bit of panic is OK. I have to survive the entire day without my vanilla latte from Starbucks. AAHH
well I don't know whether people over here are overreacting or not, but parts of Upper Austria have been declared "areas of catastrophe" because of the snow ... rooftops are collapsing - not at all good if it's the supermarkets or exposition centers - like in Bavaria, where recently 66 people died and over a hundred got injured because the roof collapsed...
