I do the same thing. I leave it all to the Butcher. The cats don't even bother to complain to me any more.I do pick up the hairballs, but I'll admit to leaving them for a little bit in hopes that the dog will just eat them.Did I say that out loud?I mean, I promptly clean them right up.
Ha! Its ok, we are notoriously lazy about picking up the hairballs too. What happens is we put a wet piece of paper towel on it and let it soak up. Then we pick it up 3 days later. That is, unless company is coming or we are mopping the floors.Thank god we don't have carpet!
