Snogging angels

What, you mean you don't like tittie grabbing angels on your children's Christmas wrap?

Apparently, Virgin Mobile made a major oops when they passed out promotional wrapping paper to children exiting movie theatres in Canada. The wrapping paper, intended to express the spirit of the Christmas season, depicts angels kissing one another while the male angel cops a feel. The female angel could be construed as grabbing for the male angel's nether regions, but it is hard to tell. At any rate, parents were definitely not pleased.

Virgin's excuse? It was meant to be handed out to 18-24 year olds. Oh, ok. I get it now. You thought you might get a wee bit o' publicity out of handing it out to children, then claiming oopsey!

Of course, if I was a parent who had a kid who had received the wrapping paper, I would have probably just laughed. I guess that's why I'm not a parent.

I am a parent and I'm laughing. Since my son's Greek 6th grade language book has a drawing of a topless mermaid on it, I couldn't very well cry 'foul' over a couple of amorous angels. LOL

I giggled too. The other day I picked up a mini packet with two little cookies in it with a smartie on the top of each. I gave them to my son who, of course being 9, immediately burst out laughing and said "You bought me a packet of boobs" (Breasts for those not familiar with brit slang). He enjoyed them immensely.

Tis the season....

Hey even angles need a little loving!

I ate a Greek restaurant last night. Made me think of you. The food was good. Of course I have never been to Greece so I can not compare it with the REAL thing, but it was just as good as any Greek food I have eaten in America (and the owner was Greek)! Looking at the pictures on the wall of the Greek landscape helped to warm us up on such a chilly night!

LOL, SW and DD, the three of us just might be demented, though. And I think "boobs" might be universal slang, not just British! Funny kid.

Cyn, it can get cold here in Greece too! Even on the islands!
