The Nobel Prize in Literature 2005

This year's Nobel Prize in Literature goes to British playright Harold Pinter "who in his plays uncovers the precipice under everyday prattle and forces entry into oppression's closed rooms".

Congratulations Harold!

Congratulations Harold Pinter. I have enjoyed seeing and reading his plays although I never performed in any. Nice to see a London boy get the prize. He has become quite political active these days.
Harold Pinter

"Pinter remains to his credit, a permanent public nuisance, a questioner of accepted truths, both in life and art. In fact the two persistently inter-act."
