Yea, Indianapolis is actually pretty close to Nashville, only a 6 hour drive or so.
The cats survived the move ok, the first night they were really scared, but they settled in fast. We've moved three times within Greece since then, and it is always the same - the first night is hard, but they get used to it pretty quickly.

I am from Indianapolis, IN. Not exactly next door to Nashville, but not so far either.

PS. How did your cats take the flight to Greece? Mine hid under the bed for two weeks after we landed in Italy!
