In case you were wondering

A few people have happened on this blog doing a search for "Mel's Diner T.V. show".

Well, the show Mel's Diner is from is called Alice, a cute little sitcom from the 70's and 80's, based on the movie Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, which was directed by Martin Scorcese and stars Ellen Burstyn and Kris Kristofferson. I highly recommend the movie if you haven't seen it.

So there ya go.

I love both the show and the movie.

I don't know how much you remember about the show, but in the credits when Vic Tayback is stuck in the sunroof and the dark haired waitress (Vera? Vi?) is trying to set him free, doesn't it look like she's fondling his.....?

I don't know, but I've always been caught off guard by that. Sorry. Totally off topic. Back to your regularly scheduled blog.

I remember the credits, her name was Vera (I have retained too much of my pop culture past of sitcom history). I remember the credits, but I don't remember thinking that about it.

Then again, I was more innocent than most maybe. =p
