Nah. Sweet shops in the U.S. aren't all that common, and the ones that do exist are ridiculously overpriced. If you want pastries in the U.S., you go to Krispy Kreme. =p
Well I had a 'peppermint pattie' yesterday because I'd heard about them on TV. Turns out they are like a giant 'After Eight' mint, couldn't eat it all. Today I had a 'Twinkie' which is sponge with creme inside, that was nice!
I'll put Krispie Kreme on my list of places to visit before I come home Satuday1

This should bring back memories of the States! I'm sure they have those here! :-)

Yea, you should hit up a Krispy Kreme when their "hot doughnuts now" sign is on. A dozen warm glazed and you are good to go. They melt in your mouth.
I like peppermint patties, but they are just candy bars. Twinkies, well, that doesn't count as a pastry really. It is processed food. =p
