Ok, so I can't pull that phrase off very well, but my husband picked up our Harry Potter 6 at the post office today. We also got Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and some psychiatry crap he wanted.
I'm still suffering through the Da Vinci Code but I expect my husband to start reading me Harry Potter tonight. He just doesn't know it yet.

Something tells me that the Sappho Manifesto might gather a wide cross section of readers for various reasons.
Congrats on Harry! It'll be a nice antidote after suffering thru the Duhvinci Code.
BTW, when you get to the end of Code and want to hunt the author down and pound his typing fingers to putty for the stupid resolution to certain plot threads....
Take 3 drinks and relax. Then go to other people's blogs that mention the book and bitch about it for the next 2 years. Works just fine for me...;-p
Later...
Man, when she says "Angry Girl" at the top of her blog, she doesn't mean it lightly.
She is angry.
Thanks Sappho! Love the graphics on your site, very imaginative!
Ah, Mycropht, don't tell me the ending of Da Vinci Code is lame. Of course, it won't surprise me. I still don't understand why it was so popular. I am not convinced that Dan Brown is a good writer at all, at this point. I'd say he is somewhere just below average. Alongside the romance novelists (and by romance novelists, I mean Danielle Steele and Jackie Collins, not romantic novelists, obviously).
